With 2010 being the first public breeding season for Richard we would like to have some additional quality foals born in 2011. We feel that two of our show mares would be excellent crosses with Richard. We are offering the opportunity to create a custom ET foal with Richard with one of our nicely bred warmblood mares via Embryo Transfer. 2011 Custom Foal Option One: |
Caaboom is a 3 year old that was imported in-utero by Seafire Sporthorses. Her dam was to be our daughter's next show jumper and unfortuately her dam died unexpectedly in January 2010 of a rare illness (non genetic) so we have decided to keep Caaboom and she will take her mother's place as Ashley's next show jumper. She will be started under saddle in 2010. Caaboom's pedigree is about as just about as good as you can get for a "jumper". Her pedigree combined with Richard's should produce a rider's dream horse. She is conformationally correct, has a fantastic personality, and is easily trainable. Foal should mature to ~ 16.1 - 16.2 hh. Her foal should be eligible for KWPN registration. We are also willing to take her to either the Belgian Warmblood (BWP) or Oldenburg NA inspection in 2010 (at our cost) for breeding approval. |

2011 Custom Foal Option Two: |
Katie D Car is an athletic mare who has shown in the hunter ring, jumper ring and through 2nd level dressage. Katie is our daughter, Ashley's show jumper. She is a very talented mare who should produce a foal with Richard who should be able to perform well in either the hunter ring or jumper ring. Katie's dam, True Petra, is also the dam of the SF/Oldenburg approved stallion, Juan Valdez Carolina who has shown through Grand Prix dressage. Besides Juan Valdez, her dam has produced 2 additional offspring that have shown up to Grand Prix dressage and 1 who is currently showing Int I. She has also produced a full sibling to Katie who has been sucessful in the hunter ring. Katie is approved for breeding with the Belgian Warmblood Registry (BWP), Oldenburg NA, and Selle Francais. Her foal should also be eligible for KWPN registration. |
Mare would be bred for embryo at Peterson & Smith Reproduction Center where Richard's semen is collected. Purchaser of Custom ET breeding would be responsible for the following: 1) Vet costs for the ET breeding and recipient mare (payable directly to Peterson & Smith) 2) Housing/boarding of recipient mare during pregnancy 3) Collection cost for Richard 4) No upfront stud or booking fee for Richard. If resultant foal would be sold by purchaser in the first three years of life then 1/2 stud fee of $625 would be due to Seafire Sporthorses upon sale of the foal. 5) To provide Seafire Sporthorses photos of foal at 3 days of life, 3 months of life and as a yearling. These photos should be appropriate for promotion and will be used for promoting Richard. 6) Register the foal with the appropriate registry. Registration costs for the resultant foal will be the responsiblity of purchaser. |

"Tinker" is the first US bred and born offspring of Quattro B and (we believe) his only US bred and born filly. She is his first registered Selle Francais offspring in the world. Her dam was the highest producing mare in the Selle Francais, NA registry. Her 1/2 sister was purchased and shown in the jumpers by Aaron Vale. Her foal should be eligible to receive KWPN Register A papers. We are also willing to take her to either the Belgian Warmblood Registry (BWP) or Oldenburg NA inspections in 2010 at our cost for breeding approval. Her foal with Richard should mature to 16.1 - 16.2 hh. She is currently under training and should be starting her showing career in 2010. Pictures to follow shortly. |
